Come for the malted mocha. Stay to look around at the mosaic glass wall. Coffee Cups are cut in half and stick out of the wall. Very dog friendly. They have some vintage games to play. Free Wi-Fi. Outdoor wooden picnic table benches. Bathroom is covered in graffiti- there is not a single white spot left. I came here to watch the Oscars and sip on coffee. It’s never packed. Staff is friendly.

Ive always liked muddy waters. The service isn't always the greatest (they have 1 person staffing the whole place) The crowd is real nice. Ive only been "judged" once there, which is amazing compared to any other coffee place Ive been before. I'm not a straight shot, but nor a green hippie. The people there are very accommodating. If your looking for the nest starbucks, dont like dogs or people, or dont like the "underground" feel to a coffee house, this isnt for you. But if you like atmosphere, good people, and good food, its the place to go.
